Business Development Manager - Uganda

Our client, a Company based in Nairobi that deals with design, supply and installation of fire protection equipment wishes to recruit a self motivated, dynamic and hardworking individual to work as a Business Development Manager based in Kampala, Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:-
  • Overall administration of the company office.
  • Actively hunt and identify potential customers, which will include contractors, engineers etc
  • Develop strategic relationship with the above with the aim of penetrating and pursuing business opportunities
  • Making sure we participate in all fire protection project tenders by quotations
  • Follow up projects with contractors to ensure that our products are eventually supplied
  • Evaluating and analyzing product trend against competition and advising management on areas of improvement and response.
  • Identify areas and opportunities for market expansion and recommendation of new products required to tap the market
  • Promotes the organization’s product portfolio and continually sells them to both new & existing clients
  • Keeps abreast and informs organization of market dynamics and customer needs
  • Preparing proposals and quotations for clients
  • Ensure provision of after sale services to customers
Qualifications:-
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing
  • Excellent negotiation, management, leadership skills
  • Adequate knowledge in product development
  • Results oriented with a good record in heading a department/branch
  • An experienced marketer well versed in the industry.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
