Marketing Executive/ Creative

CHRIST IS THE ANSWER MINISTRIES

Christ is The Answer Ministries (CITAM), wishes to recruit a Marketing Executive/ Creative for its Radio Station -Hope FM.
The position reports to the Head of Marketing Hope FM.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for generating sales, servicing clients, realising set sales targets and marketing the stations image to the public. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creatively scripting adverts, classifieds and mentions for broadcast.
• Design sales packages for the station in consultation with the Head of Marketing.
• Liaise with production to facilitate creation of quality adverts, classifieds and mentions that meet clients needs and expectations
• Creatively evaluate and propose Hope Fm’s on ground branding i.e. designs for banners, fliers merchandise and eventual branding at events and functions
• Prospect and market advertisement slots for the station.
• Conduct periodic market surveys to identify potential advertising customers.
• Develop schedule for commercials in collaboration with the Programming Manager.
• Re-define, re-fresh, create and manage the station on air Ids (liners, jingles)
• Continuously gauge advertiser response and pursue new advertising contracts.
• Participate in the creation, organisation, running and/or staging of road shows and promotions.
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide market intelligence to management for decision-making.
• Follow up the unpaid invoices (debt collection)
• Perform any other duties & responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A Born Again Christian who subscribes to the CITAM Statement of Faith.
• Degree in Marketing or Diploma in Marketing if degree is in another field
• Marketing related professional training
• Should be eloquent, outgoing, proactive, possess strong interpersonal skills, creative and be innovative
• At least two years experience
