The Association for the Physically Disabled of Kenya (APDK) is a Non Governmental Organization empowering person with disabilities in the country.

The organization has established an Employment Bureau and requires an officer to manage the Bureau.

Responsibilities:

• Programme design and management of Employment Bureau
• Conduct assessment and interviews of persons with disabilities who seek employment
• Consult with and lobby employers for job placement
• Develop and manage database and website
• Prepare program and donor reports
• Conduct training for clients and employers

Requirement:

• Degree in Social Science/Diploma in Human Resource Management
• Minimum 5 years experience in HR Management
• Experience in an Employment Bureau will be an added advantage
• At least 30 years of age
• Should be computer literate
• Self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Persons with disability are encouraged to apply
