Background
| The Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) between the North and South Sudan requires that adequate governmental infrastructure be established. UNOPS has the lead in the sector and is seeking qualified staff to implement its' projects. Through the Sudan Operations Centre (SDOC) based in Juba, UNOPS is managing a number of building projects that require continuous services of a Project Architect. The projects involve design, construction and rehabilitation of facilities for the Government of Southern Sudan (GoSS) Police and Prisons Services. The Project Architect's role in a broad sense will be to assist the Project Manager to develop architectural designs and documentation for the buildings and to provide technical advice during design as well as the construction phase. |
