Administrative Assistant/Receptionist Job


Our Client is a multi disciplined brand and communications consultancy firm with a user-centered approach. They work as a team to plan, innovate, design, and create corporate communication solutions for their clients.

They possess expertise in developing creative, intrusive, distinctive and relevant messaging within a broad range of services such as logo and design systems, brand strategy, newsletters and magazines, marketing collaterals among others.
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Reporting to the Executive Director, the position will be responsible for offering administrative, operational and clerical support.
1 Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
  • To generate correspondence, reports and other documents
  • To maintain and accurately update office files
  • To distribute mails in a timely manner
  • To take minutes at the meetings
  • To coordinate repairs of office equipment
  • To manage the Executive Director’s diary
Operations Support 
  • To maintain confidential records and files at all times
  • To maintain records of decision
  • To oversee payment of suppliers
  • To prepare documents and reports using the computer
  • To update and manage office information systems
Receptionist services 
  • To answer phone calls and take messages
  • To receive and assist clients
  • To make direct calls and respond to enquiries
  • Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
2. Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma in relevant field.
  • Formal training in accounting, preferably CPA II will be an added advantage
Desirable
  • Ability to organize time, manage a variety of tasks simultaneously and resolve routine problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and spreadsheets
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Kiswahili
3. Relevant Job Experience
  • Two (2) years experience in office administration
4. Remuneration
  • Salary is between kshs 15,000 – 20,000.
