Plan Kenya is seeking to recruit for the position of Sponsorship Facilitator based at the Machakos and Homa Bay Development Areas respectively.
The job reports to the Resource Mobilization Coordinator.
The job holder will facilitate sponsorship activities and manage the corporate software at the DA.
The incumbent will also build relationships between sponsored children and sponsors for resource mobilization so as to empower community to take charge of their own development.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure quality control on sponsorship communication.
- Train staff, communities and CBO on sponsorship.
- Review and quality check sponsorship communication.
- Support Program Facilitators and communities in sponsorship communication.
- Facilitate peer review and sponsorship communication audit.
- Recommend communities that require capacity building in sponsorship communication.
- Attend sponsor parent visits.
- Ensure sponsored children receive appropriate small gifts from sponsors.
- Control sponsorship communication materials – film rolls, batteries and other stationery.
- Respond and address sponsorship issues in DA.
Qualifications, experience and skills
- Diploma in community development.
- At least 3 years experience in sponsorship preferably in an NGO.
- Willingness to work with communities at all levels.
- Innovative and independent thinker.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Microsoft Office Suite use
