The selected candidate will report to the Chief Biogas Engineer and will be responsible for the formation and training of farmer producer groups in the programme using bio slurry. Duties will include developing an effective and coherent plan for the agricultural component of the programme using bio slurry, ensuring effective planning, budgeting, management and implementation of all programme activities. He/she will also build the capacity of the farmer producer groups to manage their agricultural resources in a sustainable way.
Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of a relevant diploma level qualification in Agriculture Extension Services, Should have at least 2 years relevant working experience in farmer participatory research, project planning and implementation, data collection, entry and analysis as well as conducting field level training. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, a valid motorcycle license, and who have practical experience of the farmer field school approach.
