FARM-Africa is an international NGO committed to improving the lives of marginal farmers & herders through innovative natural resource management approaches. We are currently seeking to recruit 3 professional staff members for a new project in Central Equatoria State.
South Sudan Local Cassava Initiative (SSLCI) – All posts based in Juba
6) PROJECT COORDINATOR (JOB REF: LC/PRO)
Purpose:
- To manage the planning, implementation, monitoring & reporting of all aspects of the FARM-Africa South Sudan Local Cassava Initiative (SSLCI) with the staff team.
- To represent the SSLCI & FARM-Africa to the Juba County & Central Equatoria State authorities & SAB Miller/South Sudan Breweries project partners at the field level.
Key responsibilities:
- To manage the project in accordance with project documents, work plans & budgets & ensure that work is consistent with FARM-Africa’s strategies & the conditions of donor contracts.
- To line manage the project staff.
- To explore & nurture mutually beneficial partnerships with other stakeholders.

7) PROJECT ACCOUNTANT/ADMINISTRATOR (JOB REF: LC/ACC)
Purpose:
- To ensure a high standard of financial management & adherence to financial procedures in the FARM-Africa SSLCI.
Key responsibilities:
- To maintain FARM-Africa’s legal status in Sudan.
- To ensure compliance with the basic standards contained in the FARM-Africa finance procedures manual.
- To maintain comprehensive & up-to-date project financial records.
- To assist the Project Coordinator with budgeting & reporting.
- To perform routine administrative & logistical tasks.
- To ensure safe custody of project assets.

8) PROJECT OFFICER (JOB REF: LC/OFF)
Purpose:
- To establish, implement and monitor the smallholder farmer component of the SSLCI.
Key responsibilities:
- To lead the Farmer Participatory Research (FPR) component of the SSLCI.
- To maintain accurate documentation of the FPR activities.
