Nairobi International School of Theology is a leading graduate Christian University and seeks to recruit a self motivated and results oriented born again Christian to fill the position of Fund Development Coordinator.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Finance, Planning and Development, he/she will oversee the Planning and Development functions of the university.
He/she will have the following key duties and responsibilities.

- Initiate and implement strategies to generate financial and other resources.
- Coordinator resource mobilization efforts including overseeing the running and sustainability of NIST Foundation.
- Initiate creative development activities and programs in line with the University’s strategic plan and budget.
- Increase funds through researching and targeting of charitable trusts sympathetic to Christian Leadership Development.
- Raise awareness of the organization’s activities at local, national and international level.
- Write proposals to funding agencies including church groups.
- Write reports and updates related to fund development, foundations, individuals and corporate organizations.
- In liaison with the ICT Department manage the donor database.
- Manage the donor communication effectively and ensure timely appreciation and updates of results to donors.
Qualification and Experience
- A born again Christian.
- A Masters Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or any other relevant field.
- A minimum of five years relevant experience, preferably gained in a university setting.
- Strong administrative, interpersonal, analytical, project planning and negotiation skills.
- Age 35 years and above.
