TI-Kenya is looking for a strategic thinker with strong programme management skills and a focus on results to fill the position of Deputy Executive Director and Head of Programmes.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will:

TI-Kenya is looking for a strategic thinker with strong programme management skills and a focus on results to fill the position of Deputy Executive Director and Head of Programmes.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will:
- Provide technical advice and support to governance and policy institutions, donors and partners on strategy and policy development and implementation;
- Take responsibility for development of programmes/ projects in line with strategic goals, effectively manage programme budgets and co-ordinate programme activities; and
- Provide technical input in the development and review of citizen demand strategies locally, nationally and internationally.
- Take the lead in fundraising to ensure sustained funding of TI-Kenya programmes and operations;
- Manage all reporting activities including consolidation of narrative reports, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and donor requirements;
- Provide technical support in development of opportunities to facilitate internal and partner learning and
- Support the continued maintenance of collaborative relationships with partners.
Requirements
We wish to discuss this position with highly skilled and motivated professionals who hold a Masters degree in Social Sciences or related discipline; have at least 8 years proven experience in programme management in a non-governmental organisation, and in addition possess:

- A strong commitment to the aims, objectives and values of TI- Kenya;
- Sound knowledge in results based management;
- Experience in conceptualising, implementing and evaluating programmes. Candidates with experience in governance will have an added advantage.
- Strong research and advocacy skills;
- Strong leadership, management and relationship building skills; and
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting and presentation skills.
