PTF is therefore looking for dynamic, team players who are experienced and qualified. The prospective candidates should possess strong credentials to fill the following positions;
Position summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Operations and Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective delivery of all PTF operations and marketing services.
Job responsibilities
Developing and maintaining a competition matrix, by carrying out a comparative analysis to establish PTF's position in the micro-finance industry; Developing a departmental participatory budget that will ensure sustainability in all branches;
Preparation of periodic reports, including; daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports;
Supervising development of new products and participating in business promotion activities;
Reviewing policy and procedures and ensuring compliance in all PTF's branches;
Developing marketing strategies that will promote PTF activities among the Tanzanian community, including marketing policies and implementation plan;
Supervising and managing growth of PTF client's outreach, including loan disbursement, savings and portfolio; Designing and implementing PTF customer policy; and
Monitoring performance of all staff based on the set targets through coaching training and counselling. Advice management on the trends in the micro finance industry locally and international.
Key qualifications experience and competencies
Bachelors Degree in Economics, Commerce, Marketing, and Business Administration;
Masters Degree in Economics, Commerce, Marketing, and Business Administration will be an added advantage;
A minimum of five (5) years experience in micro finance operations with a reputable micro finance /banking organisation; of which 3 must be in managerial position
Effective, leadership, organisational and communications skills; Strong portfolio and marketing management skills;
In-depth knowledge of microfinance principles and banking practices; and High level of computer literacy.
The above position requires individuals with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people. The right candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in Kiswahili and English. In addition he/she must be an effective team player and able to meet strict deadlines.
