International Inter-Faith Peace Building NGO Job Program Manager - Dar es Salaam Office

Requirements:

• Age 30-45.
• Bachelors Degree in International Relations, Peace Studies or like program of studies.
• Inter- Faith work a plus.
• Must have at least 3 years experience working in an NGO environment preferably one with focus on children or youth in Inter-Faith environment.
• A Masters Degree in Sociology and or work in Peace and Reconciliation an added plus.

Job Description:

A. As the Manager for Dar es Salaam Secretariat:

1. Overall Administrative management of the Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar Offices
2. Budget planning and accounting management of DSM Office
3. Ensuring that accurate financial transactions are kept, producing monthly and quarterly narrative and financial reports for office and its projects.

B. As the Program Manager for Projects in Tanzania:

1. Coordinating all projects and programmes run by Dar es Salaam Office
2. The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Young Peace Ambassadors Program in Tanzania, and other projects that will be agreed upon
3. The Program Manager will implement the Young Peace Ambassadors Program, ensure continuous monitoring and development and evaluation of the program.
4. Planning and co-ordinating activities that will include Peace Camps, Workshops, Seminars, Debates and others that will lead to achieving the ojectives of the Young Peace Ambassadors Project.
5. Working closely with the Field Assistants, the Program Manager will ensure the following objectives of the Young Peace Ambassadors Programme are achieved
