The Position

Data Base Administrator/Developer
The Position
The person wilt be a team member of senior DBA/Developers in ICT and responsible for database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the strategy, technical architecture implementation plan and delivery of business intelligence data warehouse
- Define the overall data ware house architecture
- Design and implementation of Siebel Business Analytics(SBA)
- Implement OFSAA data ware house
- Implementation of Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Systems
- Design and implementation of data marts
- Implementation of Business Rules Engine(BRE) Enterprise Decision Management (EDM) software
- Define key business drivers for the data warehouse initiatives
- Manage the development of data warehouse technologies
- Define meta standards for the data ware house
- Design and direct ETL process, including data quality and testing
- Define production release requirements, data warehouses, business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Routine Database management and administration functions.
Candidate's Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- BSc in Computer Science or IT - majoring in software engineering
- Msc in software engineering will be an added advantage
- DBA certification in Oracle-11 g, OCA,OCP
- Over 5 years working experience as a Senior DBA/System Developer/Programmer
- Experience in Financial Services industry
- Possess technical skills in data housing technologies
- Hands on experience in reporting and querying tools
- Strong in PL/SQL programming and knowledge in Java
- Experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
- Experience in working in a Business Intelligence and Online Analytical Processing environment
- Experience in the use of core banking systems
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Ability
- Able to work independently, with minimum supervision
- Team player
Data Centre Administrator
The Position
The person will be responsible for the Administration and management of the Data Centre
Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
- Planning and scheduling of data centre work
- Diagnosing breakdown problems
- Quality assurance
- Manage technicians and fitters
- Monitor and control maintenance costs and resources
- Develop maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
- Maintain all relevant logs from equipment
- Analyze data from logs and develop reports
- Maintain and report on engineering maintenance
Candidate's Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (power and industrial electronics)
- Affiliate member of the Engineer's registration board
- Must be a holder of a minimum class 'B' electrical installation works license
- Over 5 years working experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment
- Experience in handling tier four Data Center
- Experience in the use of PLC systems or automation
- Experience in LAN networking and structured cabling systems
- Strong leadership skills
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Ability
- Able to work independently, with minimum supervision
- Team player
