Compliance Manager
Requirements
- At least 8 years experience in an international / regional organization in the area of compliance.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that policies, business processes are in sync with the vision and mission of the organization.
- Monitor and as necessary, coordinate compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
- Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.
- Must have expertise in one or more areas such as environmental safeguards, gender issues, poverty and related operational issues.
- Masters in Business Management or Finance.
Senior Trust Fund Manager

- At least 2 years progressive experience at the International level in providing financial advisory services or management of trust funds.
- Excellent visionary and leadership qualities.
- In depth knowledge in handling of web-based management systems and skills in effective strengthening of partnerships.
- Fluency in English is required and experience in international trust fund law and fluency in French or Arabic is an asset.
- Masters degree in finance, law or other relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Guide potential applicants in the application process.
- Representative for all incoming enquiries from countries and respond appropriately so that they receive a prompt service.
- Develop programs for the Trust Fund and devise measures that contribute to improve the operational performance of the fund.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports periodically to keep the fund division abreast of the latest development in the fund business and trends.
- Develop and initiate specialized funds if needed.
- Establish and maintain partnerships within Trust Fund members and conduct analysis on the available financial data for decisions on investments to facilitate the work of the institution.
Lead Economist

- At least 12 years progressive experience on cross-cutting development issues with substantive track record on initiating, managing and supervising analysis of complex matters including economic growth, poverty alleviation, human development and infrastructure; of which minimum 7 years in Operations, providing diagnosis for both sector work and lending and about 6 years at different levels of Economist position.
- Excellent analytical micro and macro-economic research skills with an ability to translate analysis into policy advice and a vision to assess the outcome of the initiatives taken.
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to team-work and knowledge sharing.
- PhD degree in Economics from a recognized university and considered by peers as an intellectual leader.
Responsibilities
- Provide policy advice and analysis on the design and implementation of programs with an objective akin to the organization.
- Conduct research studies on specific issues, key regional matters as well as act as an advocate to approve Economic reports ensuring the validity and precision of content.
- Undertake regional economic, trade, investments and logistics studies to highlight common themes, which can be addressed.
- Understand the business environment, products and services in order to analyse macroeconomic data and present economic evaluation of large scale projects, when needed.
- Coordinate with other teams, the planning, preparation and outcome of the programs to ensure efficient results. Design a framework to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the policy advice and programs implemented.
- Act as the knowledge and resource centre on economic and development issues.
- Conduct analytical work and address binding constraints for economic growth.
- Provide timely advice by monitoring and assessing emerging challenges and country trends.
- Engage, communicate and collaborate with the broader team in the organization.
