- To develop and grow the business based on sales targets.
- To build factory and distribution synergy and efficiency.
- To effectively deliver on the factory’s potential against agreed budgets and projections.
- Effective management of the business against expectations.
- To maintain the highest levels of internal customer service and operational standards.
Key Result Areas:
- Orders fulfilled vs. Orders Placed – 100%.
- To attain a trading profit of KES 1 million.
- To attain a gross profit in-line with the budgeted ideal gross profits of the individual factory.
- To ensure the staffing structure and numbers support the production levels whilst maintaining ratios within industry best practice.
- Maintain distribution ratios in line with expectations.
- Ensure that site equipment is operational and regularly maintained by the responsible party; maintain updated records and control asset movement.
- Machinery to be operated at 95% of capacity.
- Ensure that local government requirements (operating licences, health department licences, etc.) are in order.
Qualifications:
- Food related higher diploma or Business Degree.
- 10 years experience in managing a food processing factory, preferably pastry factory.
- People supervisory background.
- Must come from and understand the food production industry.-bakery
- Proven track record in managing a profitable production facility.
- Full understanding of costing templates and procedures.
- Experience in yield analysis and control.
- Experience in managing a dispatch and distribution department will be an advantage.
- Management of a 24 hour production facility will be an added advantage.
