The Kenya Institute of Management - a leading not-for-profit membership-based management and business development organization seeks to fill the following positions.

Marketing and Customer Care Officer

Nature and Scope

This position reports to the Chief Manager, Nairobi Branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing the Institute products and handling customer relations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To ensure that all enquiries are effectively handled
  • Oversee proper handling of incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Oversee preparations and distribution of Student IDs
  • Identify and reach out to relevant market segments
  • Maintain proper records and a database of all the marketing information
  • Preparation of marketing budgets for necessary approvals
  • Participate in general branch administration
  • Work with the Public Relations office to ensure that quality marketing is done at the lowest cost possible
  • Do other duties as assigned by Management and immediate supervisors from time to time
The Person

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
  • A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration and other related field , those with a Masters degree have an added advantage.
  • Post graduate Diploma in Public Relations
  • At least two years work experience in marketing and customer service
  • Excellent ICT, leadership and organization skills
  • A result oriented individual and a team player of high integrity, with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate and self motivated
Office Assistant - Embu Branch

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be required to:
  • Prepare tea for staff
  • Carry out clerical and messenger duties
  • Maintain cleanliness in the premises.
  • Handle all front office enquiries
  • Collect and distribute official mail to relevant areas
  • Undertake any other duties as specified from time to time
The Person

Knowledge, skills and experience required:
  • Aged between 20 - 25 years
  • With KCSE certificate mean grade C-
  • Good communication skills and pleasant personality
  • Good customer relations
  • Ability to use office equipments such as computers, fax, photocopiers, scanners, phones among others will be an added advantage.
