Key result areas will include:
- Conceptualizing and interpreting situations and ideas into graphics for advertising and marketing purposes;
- Downloading graphics and translating them into usable/printable formats;
- Creating elegant and innovative magazine page layouts that communicate the content of the page effectively
- Liaising closely with other departments within the company for synergies;
- Keeping abreast of development in the graphics world through reading, research and consulting
Skills, knowledge and experience requirement:
- A Diploma qualification in graphics design with a minimum of 2 years experience preferably in magazines/ Advertising agencies or media
- Knowledge of Adobe suite skills (e.g. illustrator, indesign, photoshop)
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and Internet
- High level of organizational and effective time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and cope with pressure and tight deadlines
