To lead, develop, and manage the functions of the Born Free Foundation (BFF) Kenya office in close collaboration with the BFF Head Office in the UK. This will involve planning and budgeting, implementing and reporting, as well as overseeing the day-to-day activities of the local office.

Managing the country office of the Born Free Foundation, an international wildlife conservation and animal welfare charity organisation
Core Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of full and part-time staff
- Managing wildlife conservation projects and community-based wildlife programmes such as building schools, de-snaring and anti-poaching work.
- Supervising conservation education activities such as raising awareness through campaigns, drama/films among others, aimed at delivering Born Free’s core objectives of compassionate conservation and animal welfare.
- Developing ideas and tools to be presented for approval by BFF in relation to projects that are to be implemented by the Kenya office.
- Working with all major wildlife organisations and other stakeholders and maintaining particularly close relations with the Kenya Wildlife Service, East Africa Wildlife Society, Wildlife Clubs of Kenya and the Bill Woodley Mount Kenya Trust.
- Regularly reporting the experiences of the local team to BFF.
- Budgeting and accounting.
- Producing regular written contributions and photographs for Born Free publications and website, as required.
