Procurement Manager

Scope

Reporting to the Head of Planning and Administration, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for establishing, controlling and continually improving efficient and cost-effective processes of procurement in compliance with the Organization policies and Government regulations.

Personal Attributes and Qualifications

• Age: 35 - 50 years
• Degree in Commerce, Economics or Business Administration plus diploma in Supplies Management.
• In-depth understanding of the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005.
• Over 5 years hands - on experience in Procurement of which 5 years in senior position.
• Computer literate, innovative, good negotiations, communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulation of procurement policies and procedures for efficient management of procurement services.
• Ensuring strict compliance with laws and regulations governing public procurement, including disposal of assets.
• Develop sound partnerships with suppliers, contractors and relevant Government agencies.
• Oversee the delivery of goods and services
• Ensure specifications and deadlines are adhered to.

Information and Communication Technology Manager

Scope

Reporting to the Head of Planning and Administration, the ICT Manager shall be responsible for and manage all information technology needs for the Corporation.

Personal Attributes and Qualifications

• Age: 32 - 50 Years
• Bachelor degree in computer sciences or information technology plus relevant ICT professional qualification or equivalent.
• Should be innovative and creative thinker.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all information technology needs of the Corporation.
• Formulate ICT policies and strategies for the Corporation Plan and implement the ICT budget
• Coordinate installation and upgrading of hardware and software and maintain the LAN, WAN and website.
• Design and implement the disaster recovery procedures to minimize on loss of data.

Public Relations Manager

Scope

The Public Relations Manager shall report to the Managing Director, should be responsible for coordinating, developing and implementing strategic corporate communications internally and externally.

Personal Attributes and Qualifications

• Age: 35 - 50 years.
• Bachelor's degree in social sciences plus diploma in mass communications or journalism.
• Should have over 5 years hands on experience, -three of which in senior position in public relations discipline.
• Should possess excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• Should have the ability to interact easily with persons of diverse cultural background.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulating and implementing public relations strategies and programmes for the Corporation in line with the overall corporate strategic plan,
• Developing, cultivating and sustaining good working relations with staff, the media and the general public.
• Revise, develop and implement communications campaigns to the public on the roles of the Corporation.
• Identity and coordinate corporate social responsibility initiatives and other community based programmes.
• Oversee internal and external public relations events, activities and manage stakeholders' relationships.
