Requirements
- Bachelors degree (Accounting or finance)
- Relevant professional qualification i.e. CPA K
- At least 1 year experience in donor accounting, reporting and administration.
Skills and competencies
- Proactive, confident, self-drive for results with the ability to work under pressure and tight schedules/ deadlines and with minimum supervision.
- A proven team player with excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft office skills especially Excel and knowledge on accounting software
Responsibilities
- Review expenditures relating to all accounting documents for accuracy and consistency with donor regulations
- Ensure compliance with the basic standards contained in the finance procedures manual
- Timely completion and submission of statutory returns to relevant authorities.
- Maintaining comprehensive and up to date project financial records.
- Assist in budgeting and reporting to the various stakeholders.
