Makerere University College of Health Sciences (MUCHS),Uganda has been organizing International Students Conferences for over 10 years.
These have attracted both undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctors and other researchers from Uganda and other parts of the world, especially in the Sub-Saharan Countries, to convene and tackle important issues of health concern.
Therefore this year we have the International Students Conference on Reproductive Health in Sub-Saharan Africa, 2010 (ISCORH), slated for November 18th -20th at Imperial Royale Hotel-Kampala, Uganda.
The theme is Reproductive Health:prioritizing Maternal, Adolescent and Newborn health It will attract 4000 delegates across Africa and rest of the world.
There are four major trucks;
1.maternal health
2.Newborn and child health
3.Adolescent, Sexual and Reproductive Health
4.Sexual and Reproductive Rights and Policies
5.STIs and HIV
I am requesting you to circulate this information to as members as you can. We are brainstorming on how to fund raise for this important event and also attract attendance from the rest of the world.
Our biggest challenges are costs for the venue, meals and abstract books
