As the internal subject matter expert, he/she will facilitate the introduction of WCO to enhance/ support the achievement of KQ’s continuous improvement objectives.
Detailed Description
- Develop and monitor the WCO implementation Milestones Plan
- Support HODs to ensure the effective functioning of the WCO Implementation teams
- Ensure the proper customization of all WCO training material
- Evaluate level of skills transfer & implementation of action plans.
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge, shared learnings and develop a WCO knowledge management system through the usage of DigiTRACC
- Plan and coordinate all external consultant activities to ensure proper utilization and benefit to KQ.
- In consultation with IT, create and maintain an effective WCO Intranet Folder to deposit and keep WCO documents
- Ensures effective WCO marketing and communication
- Source case studies and articles for the newsletter
- Facilitate the standardisation of WCO activities across departments
- Assist with identifying & resolving climate risk issues
- Prepare and manage a WCO budget
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation skills
- Organisational & planning Skills
- Proficiency in the use of IT
- Instructional skills course/TOT.
- Training management course/ Type specific course
- Previous WCO or related experience
- University graduate or Diploma as an added advantage.

- Feedback from the individual Implementation Teams on the level of support provided
- Relevant Training Material customized by end Feb’10.
- DigiTRACC progress – stage 2 across KQ by end March’10
- Improved staff performance, and positive behavior change
- Improved WCO knowledge as judged by the external consultants.
