ICCO – Interchurch Organization for Development Cooperation - which aims at poverty alleviation with a strong focus on civil society building. In addition, ICCO has several emergency, rehabilitation and development programmers funded through other sources.
Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Sudan Juba Office
Reports to: Finance Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Support capacity strengthening of financial management of Partners and staff
- Support effective financial monitoring and reporting for partners and staff.
- Effectively participate in program and operational budget preparation process
- Facilitate and ensure compliance with organizational systems in regard to funds disbursement
- Facilitate and ensure accurate and timely funds availability to ICCO-Field office
Qualifications and Experience
- A University Degree –Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting Option) from a recognized institution with CPAII or CPAK/ ACCA with at least 5 years relevant experience working in a reputable organization, two years of which must have been at management level.
- Experience with financial information systems and MS office.
- An understanding of community development preferably from capacity Building of Civil society
- Experience in setting up and effectively maintaining community friendly financial management systems
- Sudanese by Nationality
