E-marketing- Web Developer Intern (Off-site)

Summary:
The Intern will be responsible for supporting the existing infrastructure as well as develop new technologies. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity
NB:This candidate will always work away from the office over the internet hence having a computer and internet is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Those who work as eMarketing specialists are responsible for optimizing client web page code and content, and marketing the website. They are required to reach and educate potential clients using social media, public relations and online advertising.
- Skills
- Specialists in eMarketing have knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), HTML code, keyword research and Web content creation. An eMarketing specialist has good written communication and understands how to conduct online advertising campaigns such as pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
- Develop new Web applications as identified by supervisor and management through packaged and customized applications.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing Web applications and all internal systems are integrated.
- Perform complete testing of Web applications unit and system, engaging users as necessary.
- Develop database-driven Web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
- Develop external Web portals allowing users to input and retrieve accurate information.
- Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
The Ideal candidate should also possess the following:
- Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
- Experience with hardware and software issues
- Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
