CORAT Africa is a Pan African Christian Organization involved in provision of Leadership Development, Management Training, Research and Consultancy services to churches and church related organizations in Africa.

Job Summary
This is a very sensitive and critical position in CORAT and calls for very high standards of hygiene, keenness to details coupled with excellent organizational skills and hands-on-approach to cooking. The position holder must also have strong skills in food processing, customer service and excellent communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain proper kitchen management
• Ensure that all meals ordered or required are prepared and ready on time
• Ensure high quality and adequate quantity of food presentation
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, health and safety
• Prepare and present weekly and daily menus as will be required by the supervisor
• Maintain proper storage of food items
• Control food cost standards

Qualifications

• Certificate in Food production from either Kenya Utalii College or from a recognized institution examined by KNEC
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team.
• Must be a committed Christian.
