Consultancy Services for Architectural, Quantity Surveying, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) was created by the Insurance (Amendment) Act of 2006 and came into effect on 1st may 2007. The Authority was established with the mandate of regulating, supervising and developing the insurance industry in Kenya.
The Authority would like to invite Expression of Interest (EOI) for provision of Consultancy services for Architectural, Quantity surveying, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering for the proposed partition of office space for the Authority and associated services at Zep-Re Place.
The expected works comprise mainly of new works and linking services to existing offices with associated services such as related Electrical and Mechanical works.
The Authority therefore would like to engage the services of professional firms to carry out the exercise of preparing design options, cost estimates, detailed design, and tendering documents to commissioning, supervision and handover. Interested firms should have wide and proven experience in offering the services they wish to express interest on.
Eligible potential firms with relevant experience are invited to express their interest for the provision of consultancy services which should include but not limited to the following:

Only shortlisted firms will be invited to submit request for proposals (RFP).

- Detailed Company profiles of the firms to include company background, registration and licences, CVs and evidence of technical capability to undertake the assignment.
- CVs of proposed staff with copies of current practicing licenses.
- Demonstration of having conducted at least five assignments of similar nature together with their values, clients names and addresses.
- Firms must attach copies of PIN, VAT and valid Tax Compliance certificates.
