ADMINISTRATOR

The mission of the Lake Victoria Tourism Forum is to contribute to sustainable management, development and utilization of the natural resources of key economic growth areas such as ecotourism, nature tourism and cultural tourism through capacity building, information sharing, marketing and promotion.

The Forum is designed as the institutional mechanism that will implement the Tourism Trust Fund (TTF) funded tourism development plan for Western Kenya, a partnership of the Kenya Government - European Union initiative.

The Forum has recently completed its strategic plan and now seeks to recruit the following personnel to drive the strategy implementation process.

All positions are based in Kisumu city.

The Administrator will report to the Forum manager.

Key duties and responsibilities are:

To deputize the Forum manager.

To perform financial and administrative functions.

To engage in product development, training and marketing.

To undertake proposal development

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in business management or business administration.

CPA Part II

Diploma in a tourism related field will be a distinct advantage.

Computer literate.

Knowledge of International languages will be an added advantage.

Minimum of two years relevant experience required
