VACANCY 
PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO MANAGING DIRECTOR  
A leading telecommunications company based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania is looking for a highly skilled Personal Assistant to provide proactive administrative support to the Managing Director 
The successful person will thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, be career oriented, proactive in their approach, extremely organised, diplomatic in dealing with others whilst comfortable being assertive.
The Personal Assistant’s key responsibilities will include:

• Diary management
• Expense administration, Invoice processing / approvals
• Scheduling / Organizing up conference calls, video conferences and meetings
• Managing internal communications
• Arranging travel
• Handling correspondence to the Director
• Producing documents, maintaining records, and compiling reports
• Dealing appropriately with urgent and confidential matters
• Ad hoc administrative support

To be considered for this position your skills and experience should include:  
• Relevant secretarial or business studies qualification
• At least five years experience in a similar role supporting a senior manager
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including, Excel, Power Point, and Word
• Typing speed of at least 60 wpm
• Good oral and written English and Kiswahili communication skills
• Knowledge of basic accounting
• Strong organisational and administrative skills and experience
• Strong multitasking skills, highly organised and detail-oriented
• Flexible on hours – able to stay on if necessary to resolve peak workload
