A logistic Company based in the industrial area is looking for a self motivated individual, who is well organized, highly disciplined and results oriented to join a dynamic team as HR Officer.
PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievement within agreed formats and timescales
- Liaise with other functional / departmental head so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of HR development, and to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and the ability to integrate HR policy with our ongoing vision.
- Assist in quality improvement initiatives for their area of work
- Handle employee engagement initiatives
- Conceptualize and organize town hall meetings
- Consistently run the performance management cycle
- Experience in developing and implementing effective performance management systems and ensuring successful appraisal and reward for staff.
- The ability to manage industrial and employee relations while providing coaching, counseling and development services to the team.
- The ability to advice on the implications and management of change, whilst identifying and delivering change programmes necessary for continuous improvement.

- University graduate preferably in Social Sciences. Masters will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years experience in HR preferably multi-national environment
- Postgraduate Diploma in HRM
- Excellent negotiation, communication interpersonal and interviewing skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of Kenya Labor Laws
- Excellent people management skills
- Skills in designing HR systems and processes
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office
