Objectives
The Cash and Current Accounts Division (FTRY.2) is responsible for the management of the Bank Group’s accounts and the timely settlement of the Bank’s obligation, critical operations with a high degree of operational as well as reputational risk for the Bank.
In due respect of the guidelines, policies and procedures, the Division carries out the following activities: monitor cash-flow requirements, manage correspondent banking relationships, manage back-office payments in relation with loan operations and administrative expenses.

Duties and responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Manager of the Treasury Division, the incumbent’s duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Settlement process for capital market transactions:
- Ensure compliance with the relevant business processes and controls
- Verify the log of daily trades to ensure processing by the back-office of all transactions
- Ensure prompt and accurate settlements of all Treasury products and derivatives transactions: trades tickets verification, settlement instruction generation
- Ensure control over cashflow reports, nostro accounts and securities custody counterparties
- Establish a continuous dialogue with third parties (counterparties, custodians) for pre and post settlement verifications in order to avoid fails
- Conduct investigations of settlement fails and ensure that compensation is received/paid by the Bank on a timely basis
Implementation of new modules and daily operations of the Bank’s treasury and settlement systems:
- Develop expert knowledge of the Bank’s treasury and settlement systems and play a key role in implementing workflow for new financial products
- Provide functional user’s input to IT support teams for the integration of Summit System to Swift and other settlements systems
- Assume the management and timely update of the key static data in the treasury system (Standard Settlement Instruction, Customer data)
Document management:
- Send and receive trades confirmation and execute trade matching process
- Monitor and verify accuracy of rate fixings. Verify trades reset notification and/or payment advices received from counterparties
- Assume the good endings to all settlement operations
Collateral management operations:
- Review Credit Support Annexes and record specifications in the treasury system
- Generate derivative transactions valuations from the Bank’s treasury system
- Interface actively with counterparty and middle office to confirm the collateral amount
- Monitor collateral delivery/receipt and prepare related Swift instructions
Record keeping and reporting
- Arrange proper filing of outstanding and matured transactions
- Take a leading role in the preparation of monthly operations and custody accounts reporting for management and auditors

- At least a Master's or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Economics or similar fields; Additional professional qualification will be an advantage;
- Preferably a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in Banking, treasury management, risk management or comparable professional practice;
- A strong knowledge of capital market operations and instruments
- Previous knowledge and use of a treasury system (preferably Summit) plus common IT skills
- Good understanding of payment processing especially Swift messages
- Good communication skills, team player
- Strong ability to work under pressure
- Articulate, meticulous and well-organized
- Ability to communicate and write effectively in French and/or English, with a working knowledge of the other language
