Description:
The Operations Manager has the Responsibility to develop strategies for the company's consumer and social marketing divisions, to strengthen its position in the market through aggressive Marketing and Sales, Operations and Customer Care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume primary responsibility for understanding of clients' brand needs and develop executions that will work with the clients strategic marketing plans.
- Effectively manage diverse teams of marketing professionals.
- Be able to budget and manage budgets effectively.
- Assume primary responsibility for assessing marketing opportunities, competitive analysis and understand customer needs.
Requirements:
- A first degree in Marketing, Communications or Commerce.
- 5+ years experience in brand management, advertising or communication.
- Knowledge of the Tanzanian market and especially the social economic dynamics.
- Ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives.
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with clients.
- Understanding of Sales and retail dynamics of the marketing and communications business.
- Understanding of the media and advertising market and the company's competitive position.
- Demonstrated by ability to be both strategic and hands-on.
- Proficient PowerPoint, Word and Excel Skills.
- A good command of the written and verbal English and Kiswahili languages.
- Ability to work flexible working hours based on business and customers requirements.
