Monitoring and Evaluation Consultants


Our client, a Non Governmental Organization providing healthcare service has an immediate urgency for Monitoring and Evaluation Consultants
Summary Scope of Work: 
Reporting to the Project Manager, the consultants will be responsible for:-
  • Assess the impact and effectiveness of the activities implemented by the organization on target society
  • Examine the objectivity verifiable indicators found in the approved proposal and provide current figures along with comprehensive report explaining the reasons for over/under achievement
  • Evaluate the efficiency of the project in relation to beneficiaries, cost and timeframe of the project
  • Draw conclusions, make recommendations and state lessons learnt for future strategy and improvements in implementation of the project

The Requirements
The ideal candidate should; 
  • Masters Degree in Social Sciences (Sociology, Social Work, Community Development and Education) or related fields or a Post-Graduate Degree in Project Evaluation
  • 5 years of performing project evaluations with reputable humanitarian organisations
  • Experience of evaluating community based projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of programme design, planning and management
  • Be of outmost honesty
  • Very proficient in MS Office
  • Possess high quality interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate good report writing skills
  • Excellent analytical skills.
