Our client, a Non Governmental Organization providing healthcare service has an immediate urgency for Monitoring and Evaluation Consultants
Summary Scope of Work:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the consultants will be responsible for:-
- Assess the impact and effectiveness of the activities implemented by the organization on target society
- Examine the objectivity verifiable indicators found in the approved proposal and provide current figures along with comprehensive report explaining the reasons for over/under achievement
- Evaluate the efficiency of the project in relation to beneficiaries, cost and timeframe of the project
- Draw conclusions, make recommendations and state lessons learnt for future strategy and improvements in implementation of the project
The Requirements
The ideal candidate should;
- Masters Degree in Social Sciences (Sociology, Social Work, Community Development and Education) or related fields or a Post-Graduate Degree in Project Evaluation
- 5 years of performing project evaluations with reputable humanitarian organisations
- Experience of evaluating community based projects
- Comprehensive understanding of programme design, planning and management
- Be of outmost honesty
- Very proficient in MS Office
- Possess high quality interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrate good report writing skills
- Excellent analytical skills.
