Technical Assistant Job Opportunity at the Embassy of Brazil in Nairobi

Embassy is seeking individual with proficiency in Portuguese and English Language (spoken and written) for position of Technical Assistant, to carry out technical and administrative duties in Cooperation Sector.

Main duties:

* to follow-up the decisions and agreements on technical cooperating between Brazil and Kenya and other countries under the Embassy’s jurisdiction;
* to assist visiting missions to Africa, and
* to support organizing missions to Brazil.

Prerequisites:

* 18 years of age or over, certificate of good conduct, undergraduate degree in the fields of technical, economical or exact sciences;
* for non-Kenyan candidates: proof of legal residence in Kenya, work permit;
* for Brazilian candidates: clearance from military service, vote certificate (or justification of absence) for the last Brazilian elections.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of

* documentation presented;
* tests of Portuguese and English languages;
* overall capabilities.
