The Retirement Benefits Authority is a reputable public sector organisation tasked with the role of regulating a key socioeconomic sector in Kenya.

The Position
Reporting to the Board Secretary/Manager Legal Affairs and Corporate Services.
The holder will be responsible for reviewing retirement benefits enabling legislation, Regulations and Recommending amendments that will spur the development of the retirement benefits sector.
Core Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to have competencies that will enable the candidate to participate in legislative drafting and conducting legal surveys.
The candidate will further be expected to demonstrate strong communication skills, report writing, litigations skills and responsive in providing high quality customer service.
Proficiency in computer applications and ability to maintain professional status and keep abreast of evolving legal trends through continuing legal education is mandatory. The candidate will among other duties be called upon to undertake civil and criminal prosecutions
Minimum Qualifications
- Master Degree in Law (LLM)
- Professional qualifications such as CPS or equivalent and Post graduate Diploma in Law. Must be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
- Minimum three (3) years experience in the practice of law.
