Direct Sales Agent

- Job Description and Qualifications

At SAMRT TV, we have a strong product line, and we will rely on direct sales agent to expand the sales of our services including Pay TV service, STB, and the others services to be added in the future. Our direct sales agents will contact potential customers, write service installation orders, meet sales quotas, and leave our customers smiling. This position reports to the Direct Sales team leader with dotted reporting line to the direct Sales Manager.

Qualifications required:

Excellent presentation and sales skills, self-motivation, an entrepreneurial quality, and a desire to control your own income will identify you as a desirable candidate for this highly visible role.
This position is commission-based, and we offer transport allowance.

Duties include:
• Soliciting residential customers through door-to-door or store-intercept sales efforts.
• Explaining and selling services available to our subscribers, maintaining minimum sales quotas, and writing orders for installation of services
• Follow-up on door hangers with phone calls
• Occasionally performing subscriber audits of illegal service for the purpose of obtaining leads

Preferred Qualifications Include:

• Demonstrating and ensuring compliance with our “customer satisfaction” philosophy
• High School certificate or Sales diploma or equivalent
• One year experience in direct (door-to-door) sales, preferably in cable TV and/or telemarketing
• Neat personal appearance
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain favorable relations with subscribers and fellow employees
• Reliable transportation
• Must thrive on closing new business
