Permanent management level position in the Engineering sector in Centurion in South Africa (Gauteng). Job Description

Key Performance Areas:
Marketing and Sales of Avionics equipment to a selected number of OEM and Tier 1 customers, responsible for:
Compilation of marketing plans per opportunity and account,
Management of allocated marketing budget,
Management of proposal compilation,
Submission and exploitation of proposals to achieve contract award,
Attendance of shows, exhibitions and relevant symposia,
Coordinating of product demonstrations to potential customers,
Customer Liaison.
Product management for the Avionics product portfolio for a selected number of products, responsible for:
Compilation of R&D roadmaps and product business cases,
Capture and understand market requirements and transform them to design of products and product families,
Management of allocated R&D budget,
Product management aspects in total proposals.

Requirements:
Marketing diploma or relevant Technical qualification advantageous
Negotiation skills – certificate / course qualification or practical experience
Computer literate – MS Office Suite
Knowledge of Avionics Systems will be beneficial
Knowledge of languages will be beneficial – Spanish, French, or Portuguese
International experience in business-to-business marketing and sales or product management of complex, highly technical products
