Programmer (ASP.NET, SQL Server, VB.NET)

Are you good at ASP.NET and have had college or graduate level IT training?

Have you worked for at least one year in a position involving coding in VB.NET, SQL Server and HTML?

You MUST be very good at ASP.NET (VB.net or C#) and be comfortable with SQL (any platform but SQL Server is preferred).
Description:

* You will be involved in supporting existing applications, developing new functionality (Change Requests) and developing new web applications.
* You will assist in supporting systems for UK based clients and Kenyan clients
* You will be work under the supervision of a senior .NET programmer. In addition, you will report to the Technical Architect.
* A lot of experience will be gained in real world application development, RDBMSs (SQL Server, ORACLE and occassional MS Access).
* Experience will also be gained in systems design and specification for real world systems from a highly experience team
* There will be some involvement in managing our internal network but this is not the core duty.

* College level training in programming
(MS Office packages do not qualify)
* Work experience .NET programming capability preferrably in VB.NET (C# will also be considered)
* SQL knowledge (interfacing with MS Access or SQL Server)
* Visual Studio.net (any edition )
* Available to start immediately
* Must be capable of programming/creating web based systems/applications
* Excellent HTML
* A serious liking and passion for programming especially using .NET
* The capablity to work under minimum supervision.

Nice to Have Attributes:

* An eye/capability to design web pages that are visually appealing
* Capability to use design packages (e.g. Adobe photoshop, Macromedia Flash)
* Flash design and creation capability
