Java Programmer / Tutor- Leading IT Education Institution 30th November 2010

Our client is a leading IT institute which offers IT education and Management Advisory services on  IT Infrastructure, Project organisation, Software Production, etc, based on experience in carrying our larger European IT Projects. Our client has been in existence since 2004. In these 6 years, the corporate has built extraordinary competence within IT Education, and the institute has within this period of time educated and certified many very competent IT Developers. The Institute is approved by Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology to do Technical Training for Kenyan Citizens, and has been certified by City & Guilds to do Software Development Examinations.Furthermore our client  is working in close collaboration with City & Guilds to develop a whole new series of examinations within highly advanced software development which builds directly on the City & Guilds 200 and 300 series of examinations.

Our client now seeks to recruit 4 full time Java Programmers/ Tutors.

The Job

Software Development / Tutoring  in Advanced Java, Programming including GUI (Swing), Multi Threading, Interface, Network programming, Database programming via JDBC (SQL), Invariance programming, UML, UP, XML, HTML, PHP, Agile, SVN, Ant, Error handling, Algorithm construction, Data Structures, Programming Paradigms

Qualifications:

B.SC in Computer Science.

Experience

The candidate should have experience in;-

    * Java Software Development
    * Network Programming
    * Multi Threading
    * GUI

The ideal candidate should be willing to and must be able to learn more.

This position will attract an attracative basic salary plus a performance based incentive.
