What we are looking for
We are in the process of strengthening our support services our Hosting Center within the Internal Firm Service by recruiting a highly motivated person for the position of Assistant Executive – Hosting Center.
The person will be involved in supporting staff and clients in delivering
hosted systems for Africa Central and Francophone Africa region. This
person will be reporting to the Hosting Center Manager.
Description:

The Role
* Incharge of the hosting center help desk and be able to direct and allocate calls respectively; * Analyse data and prepare monthly and adhoc reports; * Present the reports and the analysis to key stakeholders and interprete the data; * Check and monitor that all countries in Africa Central and Francophone Africa can connect to the hosted systems and provide support where necessary; * Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate to third level support; * Perform monthly, bi- monthly and daily systems backups; * Provide user support to staff and clients;

Requirements:

The Person
* Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Information Technology (IT) or related discipline; * Knowledge of SQL 2005; * Knowledge of advanced Ms Excel features; * Hands on experience in client support and requests; * Fluency in English and French (oral and written); * 1 to 2 years relevant working experience; * Helpdesk experience in IT or fi nancial environment; * Training capability or potential; * Install, configure and manage servers; * Ready to work long hours with minimal supervision.
