Private Safaris (E.A) Ltd Jobs - Sales Account Manager and German Customer Service Representative

To strengthen our team, we are now seeking qualified people to fill the following positions:

1. Sales Account Manager

Job Summary

Maximizing sales and dissemination of relevant and up to date information regarding Private Safaris to a wide array of corporate and individual clients. Sales will be geared on Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events and Leisure clientele.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities will include:
  • Prospect for new business with the aim of meeting/surpassing set sales targets and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain business relationship with corporate and individual clients, handle their queries with assistance of M.I.C.E and Product Department.
  • Identify potential customers i.e. identify their potential, genre and negotiate deals.
  • Visit clients on a regular basis for updates and maintenance of good customer relations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sales reports.
  • Conduct market intelligence on a continuous basis.
  • Keep abreast with market trends and suggest new sales strategies.
Minimum Job specifications:
  • A degree or diploma holder in Sales & Marketing. Experience in Tourism will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years sales experience, preferably in a hotel group with direct contact with local corporate, NGOs and other organizations.
  • Able to exceed customer expectations with product knowledge & expertise.
  • Self-motivated, confident, team player, energetic with excellent negotiation, Communication and interpersonal skills.
2. German Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

Maintain a good image of the company by ensuring smooth customer service and excellent relations with all guests and suppliers.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities will include:
  • Meeting and seeing off all arriving clients from/to their flights and safaris.
  • Prepare personalized welcome departure information for the guest.
  • Briefing and debriefing the safaris with accurate and comprehensive information and service for both the clients and the drivers.
  • Ensuring all the hotels have the correct rooming lists for arriving guests.
  • Proposing and selling excursions to the clients to enhance the quality of their holiday.
  • Reconfirming all clients’ flights.
  • Update the office on any new developments in hotels or the airport.
  • Handle lost /damaged luggage effectively
  • Quality control by inspecting vehicles before the guests embark
Minimum Job Specification:
  • Diploma in Tour Operations/Customer Care.
  • Excellent Knowledge of both written and spoken German language. Knowledge of any other foreign language is of high advantage.
  • Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving abilities.
  • Strong detail orientation and excellent communication/listening skills.
  • Ability to be loyal to the company and its associates.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • 3 years of experience in customer service in the tourism industry.
