Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Jobs: Marketing Support Manager-Business Banking

Marketing Support Manager-Business Banking
Job Ref No: MKT 01/2010

The Position

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for the articulation of marketing roll out plans and the subsequent successful rollout of the same in conjunction with the respective Business Units for Business Banking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development and implementation of marketing plan for the assigned products/business units.
  • Ensure business engagement by working closely with the unit heads, product development team and sales teams to stay abreast of operational capabilities and utilize them as marketing resources as appropriate.
  • Works with partner agencies and suppliers to ensure timely execution of promotional projects and campaigns with the aim of achieving the business and brand objectives.
  • Regular performance tracking, preferably weekly, and compilation of reports on the same for circulation to the respective stakeholders and close out all campaigns/promotions.
  • Coordinate partner agencies and suppliers to execute product activations for the products effectively within set timelines.
  • Track and analyze assigned product performance through sales numbers and value, Monthly SOV and Monthly competitor advertising and industry trends, and in turn prepare reports with recommendations.
  • Work closely with regional sales teams and branches to ensure sales support at different marketing activations and events as well as provide sales teams with any required support during their own activities.
  • Liaise with Procurement to ensure correct specification and ordering of merchandise and suppliers sourcing in accordance to budget and business needs while maximizing savings through effective negotiations with service providers.
  • Monitor budget expenditure
The Person

For the above positions, the successful applicants should have:-
  • A University degree from a recognized University. An MBA or professional qualification in a Marketing will be an added advantage
  • 3 years experience in Brand management and at least one of which should be in Advertising and Media
  • Experience in general banking will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge and application of the organizations products, services.
  • Understanding of Business Banking
  • Product Development skills and Knowledge of Pricing
  • Possess excellent planning and organizing skills.
