The Foundation for Civil Society is an independent Tanzanian organization whose vision and mission is to empower Tanzania citizens to realise their rights and engage in change processes that enhance their quality of life through the provision of grants, facilitating linkages and enabling a culture of ongoing learning in civil society.
The Foundation is inviting applications from qualified, dynamic and motivated Tanzanians to fill the following vacant positions in its offices in Dar es Salaam. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to work with and learn from civil society organizations from all over the country.
DESIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS Must be a CPA holder.
He/she must be strong in Systems audit and experienced Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent, well developed interpersonal and organizational skills. Highest level of integrity, honesty and sense of responsibility.
A proven ability to work under pressure to achieve visible results. Excellent report writing skills and analytical skills
Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Applications
Excellent communication skills, verbally and writing, both in English and Swahili.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Review the effectiveness of the organization internal controls, processes and procedures To conduct internal audit on various functions undertaken in the organization.
Produce a report on the internal audit of the various functions undertaken within the organization indicating the strengths and weaknesses, as well as corrective measures needed to insure that no loopholes exist.
Provide advice to the Executive Director on controls that will be needed to overcome loopholes identified.
