Retail Sales Manager Job in Kenya - Authorized Safaricom Dealer

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will be responsible for:

Sales
Identify our customer needs – to ensure the customer requirements
Analyze the trends.
Plan – set the targets for each branch & ensure they are met & exceeded
Organizing – organize the branches by ensuring no stocks outs, consistency in re-order levels.
Directing – Monitoring - Controlling
Customers
To ensure consistency in customer ‘delight’.
Build the ‘capacity’ of the sales team to resolve emerging customer concerns.
Provide an ‘environment’ in which customer complaints can be solved progressive & they serve as the bench marks for future reference.
To ‘facilitate’ implementation of CRM practices.
Staff
Ensure all branches are adequately staffed with committed people.
Recommend areas of staff developments & follow up on implementation to HR.
Agree individual targets with specific key staff.
To ensure performance reviews & appraisals are conducted accordingly.
Ensure staff are consistently motivated & have a positive attitude towards work.
To monitor & control allocated work schedules.
Marketing
To create awareness of our products & services
Market research & reports periodically – have a system of data capture
To develop a marketing function
Reports
Analyze the data and provide management reports regarding sales.
To verify & confirm the daily service revenue reports.
To recommend quarterly sales target in line with the corporate goals.
Requirements:
Degree in Marketing or similar from a recognized university
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:
Demonstrated ability to influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and marketing skills to work with customers, senior management, and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines.
NB: Staff working currently with Safaricom/its dealer are not eligible.
