Shell Tanzania Limited ("STL ") is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Dutch Shell Pic which operates in more than 135 countries and is engaged in a large variety of oil, natural gas, chemicals, and other energy and related businesses throughout the world.
The Company is involved in downstream Oil Products Marketing business including the sale and distribution of petroleum and related products in the retail, commercial fuels, lubricants, aviation, and marine business sectors.
To support the day-to-day business activities, Shell Tanzania Ltd seeks the services of Field Based Account Manager (FBAM)-Lubricants Sales and Marketing
Description:
Roles:
Responsible for managing and growing Shell lubricants resellersldistributors within a specific geographical area and ensuring consistent implementation of Shell initiatives by: .
Profitably delivering a sustainable growth of the reseller business in a highly competitive environment.
Developing and managing positive reseller relationships to achieve step-change in their business perfonnance.
Monitoring market developments and competitor activities.
Training customers on lubricants product knowledge and offer basic technical advice.
Rolling out sales and marketing strategy in line with Shell initiatives.
Continuously identify growth opportunities for both Shell and the reseller.

Requirements:
Not more than 32 years of age.
Bachelor's degree course in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from a recognized institution.
At least 3 years working experience in a customer oriented field.
Demonstrate competence in implementing standard processes, achieving sales targets, building intimate relationships with customers and outstanding delivery of the customer promise.
Experience in sales and marketing with sound understanding of
FMCG sales model, good analytical skills will be an added advantage.
Applicants must be willing to be based anywhere within Tanzania.
Duration of employment:
One (1) year contract with possibility to become regular/pennanent employee subject to good individual and business perfonnance Incumbent will be based in Shell Tanzania Head Office-Dar-es-Salaam
