We wish to recruit a highly talented and experienced individual to fill the position of Project Manager-New Product Development
Position Requirements
Thorough understanding of the complete process of bringing a new product to the market, including idea screening, Concept development and testing, Business Analysis, Market testing, product launch, and new product pricing.
Demonstrable application of the Stage-Gate model to meet goals and timelines
Project planning support and execution
Planning and mobilising resources to fulfil the plans
Identification of bottlenecks, risks and issues and application of strategies to resolve them
Provision of regular progress reports on NPD/EPD Projects to the Project Board composed of the Senior leadership team
Administrative duties relating to NPD/EPD to ensure all documentation is maintained and current
Person Requirements
Holder of a good University degree from a reputable institution
Experience at working both independently and with cross-functional teams within a collaborative environment will be an added advantage
Prompt and efficient response to project adjustments and alterations is essential
Ability to lead project teams to successful project completion through strategic influencing is a plus
Ability to defuse tension among the project team (should it arise) is necessary
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to succeed in this role and a persuasive, encouraging and motivating attitude will be beneficial
Willingness to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities is expected
Ability to align self to our core values of Courage, Accountability, Networking, Drive and Oneness is essential
