PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT

ACRA – Association for Rural Cooperation in Africa and Latin America is currently implementing a Rural Electrification Programme in 3 villages of Ludewa District, Iringa Region in partnership with NDO - Njombe Development Office. The intervention aims at the improvement of socio-economic conditions of about 18.000 people, through improved access to modern energy, amelioration of natural resource management practices as well as provision of technical and financial support to small enterprises development.
ACRA is seeking for a dynamic, motivated and team-oriented professional to work as Project Manager Assistant
Duty Station:
Njombe, Iringa Region – Tanzania, with frequent field missions in the Region

Main Responsibilities:
To assist the Project Manager and other project staff in the implementation of project activities, in particular:
- Liaison with Local Authorities at District and Village levels;
- Liaison with Project Partner Organizations;
- Mobilisation and organisations of beneficiaries communities;
- Organization and management of seminars, training and other project activities;

Requirements:
- University degree in related field;
- Proved professional experience in development project implementation (including community mobilization, social works);
- Fluent in English;
- Good communication, team building and leadership skills;
- Good skills in basic computer packages;
- Knowledge of Finance and Administration guidelines of donor funded development projects will be an added advantage.
