The Kenya Institute of Education (KIE) wishes to recruit qualified professionals for vacant position as outlined below:

Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail:

* Coordinating development of relevant and quality econtent curriculum support materials in Biology and a cluster of other subjects.
* Initiating research, monitoring and evaluation of media and electronic curriculum materials;
* Conducting evaluation of both print and e-learning curriculum support materials.
* Initiating and participating in curriculum orientation activities and;
* Coordination of subject and course panels.

Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade an officer must have:

* A Master’s degree in Education or a related field with a relevant working experience at supervisory level in the area of curriculum development/implementation for at least four (4) years. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in Education or its equivalent and at least six (6) years working experience at a supervisory level in curriculum development/implementation will be considered;
* Applicants who have interacted with media/electronic material development will have an added advantage;
* Demonstrated competence in Computer Applications and their integration in teaching and learning and;
* Initiative, team player and highly motivated.
