Land O’Lakes Web-based Project Monitoring and Evaluation System

Land O’Lakes is initiating the implementation of a three-year Dairy Development Program with funding from the United States Department of Agriculture. The project will reach beneficiaries in the geographic regions of Tanga, Arusha and
Mara. Land O’Lakes will be involved in interventions along the entire value chain including producers, traders, input suppliers, producer groups, milk collection centers, processors, and consumers.

The project will also be measuring progress via jobs created, consumers reached, the value and volume of production and processing, as well as other outputs per activity.

Land O’Lakes would like to invite interested and experienced companies and/or consultants in designing web-based project monitoring and evaluation systems to submit detailed proposals for the design and creation of a system for Land O’Lakes to monitor the current project activities.

Companies must have demonstrated qualifications in developing web-based monitoring systems for agricultural projects, experience training local staff in how to input data, and provide service for modifications and maintenance of
developed systems.

The proposals are due no later than 5 pm Tanzania local time, on 12 November 2010. The company must be available to complete the work no later than end February 2011. Any late proposal submissions will not be reviewed.
