Nutrition Officer Job in Kajiado - Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action

Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action is an international organization operating in
various districts in Kenya and is currently implementing a General Food Distribution
and Supplementary Feeding Programme in the WFP Protracted Relief and Recovery
Operations (PRRO) in Kajiado. We are looking for a suitable qualified Nutrition
Officer to be based in our Kajiado field office.

To qualify for this position the candidate should poses the following:-
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Public Health
Experience in emergency nutrition and familiarity with latest developments in nutrition preferably experience gained in ASAL districts
Experience with nutrition data collection and analysis as well as reporting skills
Relevant practical experience in community based nutrition programs
Excellent communication skills in English, Kiswahili and local language (Masaai)
Ability to design and deliver training activities in the nutrition sector
Be computer literate
Be ambitious, honest, and self-motivated
Be a team player, flexible and supporting high work pressure loads
Have a minimum of 2 years of post qualification experience in a similar position
Be willing to live and work in remote areas and with local communities
