Stores manager in Kenya

Manipal International Printing Press Ltd is looking to fill in the position of Stores manager,to ensure efficient and effective management of all the raw materials and finished goods in the stores.

Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities

Ensure timely, efficient and effective requisition of raw materials.
Review/monitors raw material usage and ensures that stocks are at optimal levels.
Issue of raw materials as per the job orders.
Reconciliation of all material in stores.
Organize for the deliveries of finished items ensuring that the customers receive them in good time.
Developing sound partnerships with suppliers, clients and relevant institutions.
Ensure that proper inventory records are kept.
Handle all export and import related documents.
Maintain records of all local purchase order raised.
Maintain records of all receipts against the respective orders.
Produce a report on outstanding on the stock levels.
Handle the preparation of shipping documents.
Establishing, in liaison with the relevant departments and end-users, quality specifications of goods and services required by the Organization.
Carrying out designated checks on quality and security aspects of procurement.
Reviewing the supply chain to ensure it is efficient and effective

Knowledge skills
At least a university degree in a business related field
Professional qualification in supply chain management will be an added advantage.
Four years relevant experience gained in a manufacturing setup
